SISA AMERICAN LANGUAGE CENTER and
Cypress College (North Orange County Community College
District) have established a partnership for the purpose
of assisting international students in their pursuit
of education and English language skills. Cooperative
agreements are in place with Cypress College – International
Student Program, and Conditional Acceptance into Cypress
College may be available.
 The
following services are offered through the partnership:
- Cypress College will refer to SISA academically
qualified applications lacking the necessary English
proficiency for admission to Cypress College.
- Cypress College will include information about SISA
on its website and in printed materials directed to
international students who require English proficiency.
- Cypress College will waive its TOEFL requirement
of 500/173 for students who have completed LEVEL 4
from SISA.
- Students whom Cypress College considers admissible
except for English proficiency may be issued a Letter
of Conditional Acceptance from Cypress College, pending
successful completion of LEVEL 4 from SISA. This letter
will be sent to SISA for inclusion in documents to
be sent to students who have been accepted by SISA.
- SISA will distribute to its students information
about admission requirements to Cypress College's
International Student Program.
- SISA will provide Cypress College the opportunity
to conduct presentations at SISA for the purpose of
promoting study at Cypress College.
- Cypress College will host campus visits and tours
for SISA students who are considering enrolling in
Cypress College. Visits and tours will be arranged
at mutually convenient times.
