SISA
AMERICAN LANGUAGE CENTER was established in October
1991, and is authorized under Federal law to enroll
nonimmigrant alien students. Under the State of California
- Department of Consumer Affairs, Bureau for Private
Postsecondary and Vocational Education (BPPVE) - California
Education Code Sections 94915(b), (f), and Title 5 of
the California Code of Regulations Section 73410, SISA
AMERICAN LANGUAGE CENTER is approved and authorized
to offer educational services.
SISA AMERICAN LANGUAGE CENTER has long been recognized
for its superior programs not only among Korean community,
but also among international community in Southern California
since 1991.
The Academic Eligibility Program for F-1 D/S International
Student, a partnership for the purpose of education
and English language skills, between our school and
Cypress College (North Orange County Community College
District) is one of the most recent and outstanding
achievements and recognitions resulted from our superb
English language and/or Intensive TOEFL Preparation
programs. This partnership is for those international
students who wish to attend Cypress College but do not
have the necessary English skills to qualify for admission.
Cypress College will refer to SISA AMERICAN LANGUAGE
CENTER academically qualified applicants lacking the
necessary English language proficiency for admission
to Cypress College. Cypress College will waive its TOEFL
requirements of 500/173 for students who have successfully
completed Level4 of the SISA ALC - Intensive English
Language Program. Students whom Cypress College considers
admissible except for English language proficiency may
be issued a Letter of Conditional Acceptance from Cypress
College, pending successful completion of Level 4 from
SISA AMERICAN LANGUAGE CENTER.
